Mike "SOLAR JESUS" Blackman

Born in 1961 to Rebeka and Shane Blackman, Mike "Solar Jesus" Blackman has invaded the solar market place with a unique gift. He has transformed the once dull and outdated notion of solar electricity into a eccentric lifestyle. The concept of Solar Jesus was created by Mike himself. While working as a black jack dealer at the Ole Mill Saloon on the outskirts of Vegas, Mike noticed that the business was dwindling in the winter months, and that none of the patrons were using the Olympic size swimming pool that the old casino hall had to offer. This was due to the fact that the pool was not heated. Mike needed an affordable way to get that pool up and running, so he turned to his long time friend Dwayne Jacob Hunt for assistance. They decided that the most effective way was not to use propane like the more upscale casinos, but to turn to what the lord had already given us, solar power. After they installed the heater, the Ole Mill Saloon was up and running again. Nicknaming himself "Solar Jesus", Mike had weekly parties featuring the outlandish and scantily clad "Solar Jesus Girls" delivering free drinks until the sun rose to provide more heat for the long day of festivities that was sure to come. The rest is history...

From 1989-2001 Mike "Solar Jesus" Blackman used his formula: Go to the older casinos without heated pools, and not only deliver a product, but a party. Ever since the inception of the Solar Jesus Franchise, Mike has restored 13 older destinations into the fountain of youth. As they say in Vegas you have not lived until you went to a "Solar Jesus Revival".

Solar Jesus Today

Mike has moved to Florida in hopes of bringing the Solar Jesus Revival to the "Sunshine State". Mike plans to expand from just the old formula into a Solar Jesus lifestyle encompassing every facet of solar power available, with the Solar Jesus Girls of course. Look for Mike coming to a city near you in the summer of 2008.
